North Shore Fuel - Myers Brothers Oil traces its beginnings back to 1912 when 'Bill' Myers founded a heating company in Revere to supply heating coal to the community.

In the 1930's Max Litman founded North Shore Fuel to supply heating coal to the same community.

During the Second World War these companies as friendly competitors supplied both coal and fueloil to their customers and helped each other so that all of their customers stayed warm and comfortable.

In 1996 the two companies merged under the son and grandsons of the original founders to continue the tradition of servicing their customers first.

Today NSF-MBO is still a family oriented company supplying heating and air conditioning equipment and service and fuel oil to its many loyal customers.

We are often asked why our pricing is higher than some of the prices quoted in the newspapers by other companies. Here are some of the answers to this question that you, our loyal customers and prospective customers should know about. Because in the end it's your hard earned money.

First and foremost, we service your entire heating system, not just deliver fueloil. The amounts charged for this comfort assurance have never truly been justified. 
The cost of having someone available to you 24 hours a day including Christmas Eve, so that if your system fails is to many a priceless service. We will always be there with an educated, qualified, licensed, insured and experienced technician when you need us. Remember when doctors still made house calls, well, we do!

Our job in keeping your system and oilburner at peak efficiency and your family comfortable and prevent your pipes from freezing is a responsibility that we do not take lightly.

Secondly, we keep a fully qualified office and operation staff so that we can automatically and correctly deliver and bill you for your heating service and fueloil needs.

Third, we operate decent and safe oil delivery trucks that are available regardless of weather or road conditions all twelve months a year. Delivering oil in the summer, spring and fall is easy, in the winter when you need it only the tough and well equipped keep going.
